Sunday Spaces for Children

Child care (Kids 4 and under)

Every Sunday during service, we have child care workers who provide a safe, play-based, and loving environment for our younger children. Kids joining us for child care can be dropped off before our Sunday worship gathering.

The back corner of our sanctuary also hosts a children’s area for those who want to be closer to their parents.

Godly play (K-5)

Godly Play is a worship-based, experiential approach to Christian formation for children. The goal of Godly Play is to teach children the art of using religious language to help them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives.

All children are welcome to participate in Godly Play, led by a Story Teller and Doorperson. Children participating in Godly Play typically are dismissed after the Passing of the Peace and return for our community benediction.

For more on Godly Play, check out this brochure from Teacher Jill.

Youth Ministry (5th-12th)

All middle and high schoolers are welcomed to a youth gathering every 4th Sunday of the month, after service, during our lunch hour.

Parent and Caregiver Meetups

MEET UP FOR PARENTS AND KIDS

Roughly every other month, Teacher Jill hosts a family ministry Meet Up, which includes playtime and snacks for kids, and coffee and connection time for grown ups. Child care is provided for all children.

For information and signup for Meet Ups, please check out our church Planning Center page.
