We are a house of God marked by:

DIVINE PRESENCE

We are a community that believes that the nearness of God- in our lives, our church, and our world- has transformative power. We seek and rely upon the Triune God’s presence as the foundation of who we are and what we do.

DEEP ROOTS

We are a community that is centered around Jesus, rooted in the authority of Scripture, and engaged with Church history, sacraments, and liturgy in thoughtful ways. As a congregation of the PC(USA) denomination, we abide by the confessional nature of the Church and the faith established by the PC(USA) Book of Confessions.

RADICAL HOSPITALITY

We are an open and affirming congregation that celebrates our human family’s diversity of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, marital status, physical and mental ability, and education. We affirm that all beloved children of God and worthy of God’s love and grace. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you are welcome to begin, continue, or restart your journey with us, alongside others doing the same.

INTEGRATED FAITH

We long to live integrated lives, linking belief and practice and experiencing the lordship of Jesus in every aspect of our lives. In particular, we are serious about being an emotionally healthy community and also pay close attention to the ways that our culture, context, and identities impact how we understand and live out our faith.

MUTUAL COMMUNITY

We believe in the power of mutual relationships, striving to be a faith family where every story is honored, every gift is valued, and each member experiences a life of both giving and receiving. We honor the belovedness of each person in our midst while fighting individualism and acknowledging our deep need for one another.

INCARNATIONAL PRESENCE

We believe that following the Way of Jesus means caring about the place and people we live among. We are committed to being a presence that actively loves our neighbors, lives in resistance to Empire, and seeks justice for our communities- particularly those on the margins.
