Online Formation Groups
Formation groups are seasonally based small groups run on Zoom, which bring people together for intentional theological exploration, spiritual formation, or collective praxis. They typically run for a set number of weeks, depending on the season of the Church calendar we are in and including book clubs, prayer practice groups, Bible studies, and theological discussion spaces.
Our church is offering several summer book discussions for the season:
Liturgies for Resisting Empire- Book discussion with Pastor Erina, Tuesdays @ 8pm starting 6/16
We Mend with Gold An Immigrant Daughter's Reckoning with American Christianity- Book Discussion with Ellie Camp, Wednesdays @ 10am starting 6/17
AI Morality + Papal Encyclical- Discussion group with Pastor Michael, Thursdays @ 8pm starting 6/11
Mending Life: A Handbook for Repairing Clothes and Hearts- Book discussion on Zoom with Nancy James (Fridays at 6pm on 6/26, 7/10, 7/24) + In-person Mending Workshops with Cindy Chan (Fridays from 7-830pm on 7/3m 7/17, 7/31)
